What is speciality coffee?
It is a coffee that scores over 80 on a hundred-point scale which is set by the Speciality Coffee Association. Good coffee has a rich dense flavour, aromatic, full and slightly sweet and fragrant which delivers a long-lasting aftertaste. Speciality coffee has a rich source of antioxidants and essential nutrients that have been linked to improved cognitive function, increased metabolism and reduced risk of certain diseases, which is not in “normal” coffee.
